The “Engine and Transmission Control Unit Programming (ECU & TCM)” course is designed to validate the skills required to work on the electronic engine and transmission management systems of modern vehicles.
It enables automotive professionals (technicians, engine tuners, electronics specialists, reprogrammers) to gain operational mastery of control units (engine ECU and TCU/TCM), from data extraction and analysis through to the secure modification and rewriting of files, in compliance with emissions standards.
The course takes into account the specific features of current control units: diversity of electronic architectures, multiple memory types, software and hardware security measures, data reliability requirements, and the responsibilities associated with modifying engine and transmission parameters.
