Advanced course dedicated to the study and in-depth analysis of Immobilizer systems and the main electronic modules used in VAG group vehicles (Volkswagen, Audi, Seat, and Skoda).

The training program provides a technical overview of the evolution of electronic security systems within the VAG group, analyzing architecture, operation, and immobilizer data management strategies. Through practical examples and real case studies, participants will acquire the knowledge needed to understand adaptation procedures, immobilizer data management, and key programming.

Prerequisites

  • Basic knowledge of automotive electronics and control units.
  • Familiarity with diagnostic and ECU programming tools.

Learning Objectives

  • Understand how immobilizer systems used in VAG group vehicles work.
  • Analyze the evolution of security systems from early generations to the most recent ones.
  • Acquire skills in reading and analyzing immobilizer data.
  • Properly use diagnostic and programming tools dedicated to immobilizer systems.
  • Understand key programming and management procedures.
  • Identify and manage common issues through practical examples and real case studies.

Program

  • Evolution of Immobilizer systems from the first to the sixth generation (Immo 1 → Immo 6 – MQB, MLB, 5C, 5D).
  • Immo box and instrument cluster in VAG security systems.
  • Comfort system and management of vehicle electronic functions.
  • J518 module – Access/Start Authorization.
  • BCM2 – Body Control Module and immobilizer function management.
  • MQB platform (Modular Transverse Matrix).
  • MLB platform (Modular Longitudinal Matrix).
  • Instrument cluster 5C/5D.

Adaptation and cloning:

  • Instrument cluster, ECU, TCU, BCM, CCM

This course represents a concrete opportunity to deepen the understanding of how VAG immobilizer systems work and to learn the electronic architectures that manage the security of modern vehicles. The knowledge acquired will allow participants to analyze immobilizer systems with greater awareness and to independently handle diagnostics, data management, adaptation, and key programming operations on Volkswagen, Audi, Seat, and Skoda vehicles.

Course Includes
